Description: 

All are welcome to this five week class. Those who are completely new to clay will learn foundational forming methods and studio safety. Those with some experience will have the opportunity to hone their craft through practice and exploring new techniques. Weekly demonstrations, guidance and discussion based on individual need and group interest.  

Materials:

A studio fee, clay fee, and firing fee are all included in tuition. Tools are not included. Additional notes:

-Students will have access to Open Studio to continue their work on Thursdays from 5pm to 8pm. 

About the instructor: 

Carmela Fratus is the LexArt Ceramics Studio Manager. Her passion is sharing her knowledge and experience with curious makers and artists of all levels. Carmela creates and teaches in her Chelmsford studio, Center Ceramics which operates within Nova Art Studios.
