Description:
In this workshop students will learn to draw from life and explore capturing tonal relationships of their subjects, a 'tone' being where a color sits on the value scale between white and black. Students will receive a variety of tools to help them find accurate relationships of tones, proportions, and perspective. We will mainly work from still-life and natural forms within the studio. Our explorations will be visual in nature and give us a way to discovering our inner creative voices in the medium of drawing.
Note: Students bring their own materials to this class. A materials list is provided here.
