Description: Join Jen to learn to weave a medium Williamsburg basket using space dyed reed that is plum, blue, teal and brown.  This basket measures about 10 inches wide at the top.  The base of the basket will be started for you making it an excellent beginner project. 

Note: 

-Students should bring an old towel and scissors to class, all other materials will be provided.

-The color can be customized by reaching out to the instructor when you register (you may email education@lexart.org to ask for her contact information if you wish to do this). Please do so at least a week before the class.

-Reed is woven wet, so students should dress accordingly.

About the instructor: Jennifer Weller-Dorfman is a crafter and teacher who started weaving baskets 15 years ago in Pennsylvania.  She loves creating custom baskets for clients and teaching beginner basket weaving classes.
