Description: This simple basket is perfect for beginners. Learn to weave a base, sides and rim using different types of reed, along with seagrass trim. You will be able to choose from a variety of accent colors to decorate your basket. All materials are provided.

Note:

-The workshop will last 3.5 hours, so bring a drink or snack if you like!

-This class is for all skill levels, ages 12 and up.

About the instructor: Betsy Fell first learned to weave baskets in the Adirondacks. Basketry is an old craft that offers a way to create something functional, long-lasting, and beautiful. Weaving baskets is a lot of fun because there are always new techniques to learn, new ideas to explore, and endless possibilities for design.
