Description:
The word “photography” literally means “light writing.” If your photos lack impact, you may not be seeing and using light optimally.
In this online class, taking place two consecutive Wednesdays, learn from artist/photographer Ellen Foust how level up your photographs simply by paying attention to the light!
In the first session, you will learn how to "see" light (Where is is coming from? How much is there? What color is it?) and how this affects the space it lights up. You will also learn a vocabulary for describing light and how to use your camera to record it correctly.
In the second session, you will participate in a “photo salon” to review homework images where you will describe the light you saw and receive feedback from the instructor and other participants.
Notes:
-This class takes place on April 9th and April 16th online.
-Everyone who takes photographs with a smartphone or "big" camera is welcome to register for this fun class! You will notice the improvement in your photos as soon as you begin to see the light!
