Description: If you like playing with color and twills, turned twill blocks are the perfect next step!  We will cover some basics about reading drafts, and then examine how a variety of twill blocks are created on an eight-shaft loom.  We'll experiment with some threadings on table looms, round-robin style, and leave with drafts, ideas, and possibly some samples!

Prerequisite:

-Students need to have taken a beginning weaving class and be comfortable with reading drafts.

Note: 

-A materials fee of $5 is payable directly to the instructor.

About the instructor: 

Krysten Morganti loves weaving and spinning with every color and especially enjoys the challenge of working with reclaimed materials.

She works with vintage and antique looms and spinning wheels that she restores to working conditions in her barn in Concord, Massachusetts.

Krysten is a compulsive teacher and lifelong learner, and may be responsible for getting hundreds of folks hooked on weaving and spinning.
