I follow the grain of the wood I find and let it show me a direction and a composition. This piece is grain-wrapped maple with walnut and glass bead inset. Three glass bud vases inset into the wooden box, and can be removed for cleaning by lifting the magnetized lid. Bud vases are dishwasher-safe, but the maple box should be wiped clean with a dry cloth.
